[Ads-l] typo?

The above-referenced on-line page (too complicated to reproduce here) describes a copy of a Roman solidus apparently copied by some Anglo-Saxon from a Roman solidus, but with numerous spelling errors.  The page strongly suggests that this was a one-of-a-kind product, so most likely hand-carved rather than stamped from a master.
Is the word "typo" correct fpr the spelling errors on a one-of-a-kind piece of jewely, probably hand -carved?
