It's trying to combine two distinct groupings of people -- the Turks who
came as Gastarbeiters starting in the 60s (and their descendants) and the
more recent immigrants from a variety of countries, mostly Muslim, often
asylumseekers. They are often treated the same by white Germans, even if
they see themselves very differently.
