A Connecticut newspaper reported that students at Mills High School
decided to name a local dance the "Mills Stock Music Festival" in
October 1969. The event was also called "Music Stock Festival". These
names might be wordplay based on the Woodstock Music Festival.

In November 1969 a headline writer used wordplay to construct
"Nudestock Festival" for a short UPI article mentioning nudity at the
Woodstock Music Festival.
