1920 _Kansas City Post_ (Jan. 16) 11 [cartoon]: "Mr. Joe Blow!" "That's the
'steenth time they've paged that guy.

1926 _Evening Courier_ (Camden, N.J.) (Aug. 2)  10: This colyum has been
besieged with requests to issue some facts about Joe Blow, our wandering
correspondent....Joe Blow's real name is not Joe Blow,

1935 _Sutherland [Neb.] Courier_ (Feb. 7) 2: Walk-A-Show Orchestra, Joe
Blow.

1935  _Springfield [Mass.] Daily News_ (March 27) 1: Inscribing the name
"Joe Blow" on the ticket.

1937 _DeKalb Daily Chronicle_  (Nov. 30) 9: We'll call the fellow Joe Blow,
because we doubt very much if anyone by that name lives in DeKalb.
