[Ads-l] Antedating of Square-Bracket Citation for "Dixieland" as a Type of Jazz

The OED has a subentry for "Dixieland" as a type of jazz, with an earliest citation of 1927.  In square brackets they have a 1919 citation for "Dixieland" as the name of a band.  Here is an earlier occurrence of the band name:

1917 New York Tribune 2 Feb. 9/3 (Newspapers.com)  The First Eastern Appearance of the FAMOUS ORIGINAL DIXIELAND "JAZZ BAND."
