Good point, Rich. SNL begins at 11:30 in the Eastern time zone.

Nowadays, Saturday Night Live airs at 8:30 p.m. in the Pacific Time
zone; hence, it is a prime time show in the Pacific Time zone. The
show is broadcast live across the contiguous United States, but that
policy began in 2017.

Originally, the show was delayed, and it was shown at 10:30 or 11:30
in other time zones. So, it was not a prime-time show.
