1931 Atlantic City Press 21 Aug. 8/3 (Genealogy Bank)  Cab's now famous "Hi de Hi Hi — Ho de Ho Ho" together with his infectious grin, superb dancing and masterly directing will captivate dance and music lovers.

1931 Kansas City American 8 Oct. 2/2 (Newspapers.com)  The sister of the popular 'Cab' of "Hi-De-Ho" fame, sang, danced, directed her band and won the hearts of all.

1931 Variety 27 Oct. 36/2 (ProQuest)  Usual Harlemaniacal contortions and strutting by musicians and a line of brown-skinned gals in a unit called 'Hi De Hi, Ho De Ho'.
