1970 Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Monterey 3 Sept. (JSTOR)  Fragging, as a widespread threat to the military and one of the tools of the open rebellion, must be dealt with by the Army.

1970 Jane Fonda in Fort Lauderdale News 17 Nov. 1B (Newspapers.com)  No smart officer will ask a subordinate to cut his hair or take off his beads because he (the officer) knows if he did he wouldn't live long.  That's what's known as "fragging."  A price has been put on the officer's head.

1970 Northwest Arkansas Times (Fayetteville, Ark.) 20 Nov. 2/5 (Newspapers.com)  Immediately after talking about soldiers who "fragged" their officers, she [Jane Fonda] said, "They're good soldiers.  We should be very proud of them."
