Recently the Internet Archive reached a remarkable milestone --
preserving one trillion web pages!

The Internet Archive lost an important court case about "controlled
digital lending" to a group of publishers in 2023. Also, the Internet
Archive lost an appeal in 2024. More than 500,000 books in their
collection are not available for borrowing.
