In Neil Gaiman's novel _American Gods_, published in 2001, there is a character who goes by the nickname "Low-Key".  It's been a long while since I read the book, but I seem to recall that this "Low-Key" was an unexcitable character.  Late in the book it is revealed that "Low-Key" was actually the Norse god Loki whose nickname was a pun on his real name.
