1943 _Star Tribune_ (Minneapolis, Min.) (Jan. 2) 3 [Newspapers.com]:
They call the nervous muscular twitching that ofren sets in afterwards
"flak-happy" - flak being the deadly explosive metal that comes from
anti-aircraft fire. ...I asked some of them if they were scared.
Lieut. Robert Morgan of Asheville, N.C., said: "Only when I'm back.
Then I get...flack-happy [sic]. And I can't sleep."
