I used to eat it as a kid. We called it "raw hamburger."   No
seasoning, just straight.  An appetizer.

At some point when I was about twelve I got sick of it (not "from" it)
and haven't touched it since.

Newspapers.com has a number of relevant exx. of "tiger meat," all from SD or MN.
