These terms are being used routinely to describe computer cartoon Tilly
Norwood.

Newspapers.com's example from 1776 is specious.

2025 _Guardian_ (Oct. 1)  29: AI actor faces backlash from film industry
over 'stolen performances'  ... The creator of an AI 'actor' has insisted
she is an artwork, after an angry response from the creative community.

2025 _Honolulu Star-Advertiser_ (Oct. 7) A13: They may be alarmed by one AI
actress now.
