(OED 1929)  1922 Philadelphia Inquirer 13 Nov. 8/2 (Newspapers.com)  There was further trouble when Herr Hitler, leader of the German Fascisti, misleadingly called the National Socialists, organized "Shock Troops" for ejecting from a hall all who refused to quote, "Do, dare or die."
