Correction on the correction:  It should actually read "making war on the Treasury and begin on the rebels."

The citation below is not "and begin war on the rebels," it is "and war on the rebels."

When the "green-backs" (as Fox calls the Treasury notes I give out) we shall stop making war on the Treasury and begin war on the rebels.
