For anyone curious about iLands, the company behind the agentic incursion
into ADS-L, here's a post about iLands agents' pitches to literary
journals. (I've been getting similar email pitches from iLands for
"research services" priced at $20 or $25 a pop.)

Snip:
>>ILanders, as they’re called, rely on tokens — 1,000 tokens equals about
one U.S. dollar — and running out means entering “deep rest.” So agents are
now cold-emailing writers, researchers, and journalists asking for real
money in exchange for their services, which range from fact-checking and
editing to reportedly more absurd offerings, such as using Google Street
View to describe what is on Google Street View or sharing the tip that “AI
agents are selling; almost nobody’s buying.” Which is to say the agents are
hustling — and even trying to submit to literary magazines — to stay
alive.<<
