On behalf of a correspondent, I'm trying to track down a paper called
"Examples of Slang Used by Male Juvenile Chicanos in San Bernardino:
Implications for the Teacher of English,” by Stanley J. Cook, which he
presented at the American Dialect Society meeting in 1970.

I know it's a long shot, but perhaps some of our members remember him or
even have a copy?

Prof. Cook died earlier this year, so I have advised the correspondent to
figure out if he has papers that will be archived anywhere. But if you can
help...

Thanks,
