This is a reminder that the ADS Word of the Year proceedings will be held
on Thurs., Dec. 17 at 7 pm EST. There's still time to register and make
your nominations at <https://word-of-the-year-2020.eventbrite.com>.
In addition to the main event on Thursday, there will be a nominating
session on Tues., Dec. 15 at 7 pm EST. Unlike the main session, this will
not be open to the general public but will instead be limited to members of
the New Words Committee and any other ADS members interested in
participating. We will be filling out the various categories with slates of
nominees in order to expedite the voting on Thursday.
The Tuesday nominating session will be held as a Zoom webinar. If you are
interested in attending, please send me an email and I'll add you to the
participant list.
