The American Dialect Society's New Words Committee is once again soliciting
nominations for the Words of the Year. Nominations are being collected in
advance of the ADS annual meeting, to be held at the Philadelphia Marriott
Downtown, Jan. 9-12, 2025. (The nominating session will be held at 6:30 pm
on Thurs. Jan. 9, and the main Word of the Year event will be at 7pm on
Fri. Jan. 10.)
