Subject: ADS seeking VP of Communications

Hello ADS members,

As many of you may know Grant Barrett is stepping down from his position as
VP of Communications. We’re so grateful to him for doing this for 25+
years! We are inviting applications from members to find someone to take
over this important role. Below is a list of the things the VP of
Communications is responsible for. Please consider applying or suggesting
someone who would be a good fit.



ADS  VP of Communications responsibilities

·        Be an elected and voting member of the EC for a term of 4 years

·        Maintenance and upkeep of the ADS website.

·        Upkeep of the ADS-M mailing list

·        Post ADS activities and accomplishments on ADS Social media
accounts

·        Provide a first level of response to public inquiries through the
website and social media

·        Keep Media Inquiries page up to date

·        Liaise with the membership committee for member outreach

·        Submit an annual report of activity to the ED/President for the
annual meeting
