Dear American Dialect Society Members,
After six decades, Walt Wolfram is retiring as of July 1. Throughout his
career, he's been an important friend and mentor to many of us. At his
retirement party in September, we will be presenting Walt with a book of
notes of appreciation. If you would like to contribute a story, note of
appreciation, and/or photo for the book, please complete this form

June 1. Though some of the details are TBD, we are working with Walt's
family and the university to put together a celebration of Walt's career
here at NC State in September. There's a spot on that form to indicate if
you'd like details about the event in case you're able to attend. If you
have multiple photos, you can complete the form multiple times or just send
them to Danica Cullinan at dlcullin at ncsu.edu (that email address is also on
the form). Walt doesn't know about the book, so please keep that quiet.
