Algonquian Conference 45 - Call for papers

The 45th Algonquian Conference will take place at the University of Ottawa, October 18-19-20, 2013.

The conference is organized by Éric Mathieu and a team of students working on Ojibwe.

We invite proposals in English, French, or any Algonquian language for papers in all areas of Algonquian research. Graduate students are encouraged to apply. Presentations will be 20 minutes long followed by a 10-minute question period. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length, excluding title and references.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is September 8, 2013.

Abstracts must be submitted via e-mail to emathieu at uottawa.ca<mailto:emathieu at uottawa.ca> (Word or PDF). Abstracts using IPA fonts should be submitted as a PDF. In the subject field of the e-mail enter: Algonquian conference abstract submission. In the body of the e-mail, include the following information:

1) Title of the paper
2) Name(s) of the presenter(s)
3) Department and affiliation
4) Student or non-student
5) E-mail address for each speaker
6) Postal address
7) Your requirements for audio-visual equipment
