Cree thematic dictionaries and Linguistic Atlas updates

Dear Algonquianists, 

Our East Cree thematic dictionaries are now available in paperback and black and white, i.e a lot cheaper (but less beautiful) than the hard-cover full colour ones!

Also, the Algonquian Linguistic Atlas www.atlas-ling.ca  is now fully accessible on Tablets and mobile phones (iPhone, IPad, Android). Click on the bottom right button of the atlas to activate the mobile version. If you are on the mobile device, you will be automatically given the mobile version. Note: this is not an app, it still requires internet connection to play the sounds. Also, the sound download is not (yet) available on the mobile interface, you must use your computer for that (but text files are available).

We have limited testing capacities. Please report on how it works on the various models available out there. Please send comments and suggestions to me directly (not the whole list, please).

Note the new contributions to the atlas by Bernie Francis (Mi'kmaw), Bernice Waagoosh ✝ (Kitigan Zibi), Véronique Chachai and Jean-Paul Echaquan (Atikamekw), and from Rand Valentine: Kathy Beardy (Oji-Cree) and Reta Sands (Nishnaabemwin).

Chers tous et toutes, 

Nos dictionnaires thématiques du cri de l'Est sont maintenant offerts en noir et blanc, broché, c'est bien moins cher (mais un peu moins beau) que la version reliée en couleur!

De plus, l'atlas linguistique algonquien www.atlas-ling.ca est maintenant visible sur les tablettes et les téléphones (iPhone, iPad, Androïde). Cliquez en bas à droite de l'atlas pour activer la version pour portables. Si vous vous connectez avec votre tablette ou téléphone, vous devriez automatiquement accéder à la version mobile.
Note: ceci n'est pas une appli, vous avez toujours besoin d'une connection internet pour faire jouer les sons. De plus, le téléchargement des sons n'est pas encore disponible, il faut utiliser votre ordi, (mais les textes le sont). 

Nos capacités de tests sont limitées. Nous avons besoin de vous pour vérifier si ça marche sur tous les modèles disponibles. SVP envoyez-moi vos commentaires et suggestions directement (pas à toute la liste).
