[Algonquiana] Abbreviating Meskwaki?

Hello all,

I have a question about abbreviations in Algonquianist publications. It's
standard in the literature (at least the comparative/historical side of
things) to abbreviate the names of the major Algonquian languages, thus M
for Menominee, O for Ojibwe, C for Cree, and so on. I'm aware that the
language formerly known as Fox is now referred to as Meskwaki- however, is
F still an acceptable abbreviation in comparative publications?

Thank you,
