[Algonquiana] 2017 Algonquian Conference Update!

This a wonderful idea Rich. I am really delighted also that the conference
will be held in Montreal.
Also, I wish now to declare myself as a 'historical geography
anthropologist". My now ten years of working on Aboriginal / Mi'gmaq place
names has really brought a total shift / specialization of my field of
research. I'll be happy to share some results with you guys !

Folks,
     This is fabulous.
     Let me urge a push to get more anthropologists and historians to come
again. Let them know that we we miss them. Also, they could well have
contributions that are relevant to the anniversaries. We might even make it
a special part of the call for papers. (For the Americans, 375th for
Montreal and 150th for Confederation. Jimena, there are probably some
sources of support for the conference in connection with the
anniversaries.)
