Hello (and apologies for cross-posting),

I have a student who's become interested in the question of the ethics of working with texts that communities believe are sacred or even dangerous (especially if heard or read by the wrong person). We read an article by Pamela Innes (reference below) that talked about this, and I wondered if anyone knew of anything else on the topic. I've done a bit of searching around but this is one where it's hard to find the right search terms!

Thanks for any leads!

Monica
