[Algonquiana] Liturgical language in Algonquian languages

On behalf of a choir in Quebec: does anybody know about the language of the Catholic liturgy in any Algonquian language?
I am rather reluctant to put forward this request, given the current situation in Canada.
However, the choir director who asked me to help him find someone is, I know, well motivated, and hopes to make the language(s) heard in musical venues where they have perhaps never been heard. He has a document of liturgical material from the 19th century with texts in both "langues algonquines" and "langues iroquois" that he is very keen to use in a concert next year, so he is looking for help with translations of bits here and there. The choir has a budget for the language work. The document, le Livre des 7 nations, looks interesting, though I don’t have enough expertise to say much about it. It’s rather large so I’m not uploading it here, but anybody who wants it is very welcome.
If anybody on this list has and ideas about this, or perhaps knows other people I could get in touch with, please let me know—many thanks,
Mela
