Hello ILAT folks and AC folks,

Last June I sent the question below around, and got lots of interesting responses. Our group (which now has a name! - Enwejig, those who speak, in Ojibwe) has created a set of talking points and put them on our (still under construction) website, here<https://wep.csumc.wisc.edu/enwejig/>. (Yes, Algonquianists, it does look a bit like the last AC website - I just love that canoe picture! ;-)

We would appreciate any feedback you might have - suggestions for improvements and/or additions are always welcome! And if you quote them, please cite the site as the source!

Yours,
Monica

Subject: talking points

Dear colleagues,

A group of us here at UW-Madison has been meeting to work on making indigenous languages and their communities more visible on our campus. One thing we've been working on is talking points - why it matters. But as we've been discussing this (a good exercise in itself!) it occurred to me that we might be reinventing the wheel. So I'm writing to ask if anyone has or knows of a set of concise talking points that we could borrow and/or build off of.

Thanks for any leads!

Monica
