help in learning Hawaiian

Could anybody please advise me on Hawaiian textbooks, dictionaries and
readers? In particular, I'd like to know if the Hawaiian Reader by P. G.
Day and C. Stroven is a selection of texts IN Hawaiian, not ON Hawaiian
(traditions, cuisine, etc.).
