   A ceremony to honor and remember our friend, teacher and colleague, Stan
Starosta, has been scheduled for Friday, September 13 at 3:30 in the
auditorium of the Center for Korean Studies, directly across the street
from Moore Hall.

  Please feel free to forward this announcement to students and colleagues
of Stan who may not be subscribers to this list.

P.S.  Individuals who plan to travel to Hawaii to attend the ceremony are
asked to contact Dr. Byron Bender (bender at hawaii.edu) in advance.
