Ulo Sirk

Excuse me for the error about Ulo's age in my last message. He was only 76, not yet 77.. 
Only a month ago  I sent to him my review of his work on Austronesian comparative study. (2008). The conclusion was: "Sirk's book is an unordinary event in Russian linguistics. ...a monumental work which will long serve as  a very important guide both for austronesianists and specialists in other fields of comparative philology".
