[An-lang] Obit: Dr. Alexander Ogloblin (Saint Petersburg State University)

Dear colleagues,

I'm very sad to inform, that Dr. Alexander Ogloblin (1939-2020), one of the
Russian most prominent scholars in Austronesian studies has passed.

Dr. A. Ogloblin was a very talented linguist as well as specialist on
literature and culture of Indonesia and Malaysia, a leading professor who
has taught and supervised generations of scholars in Austronesian studies
in Russia. Alexander Ogloblin is the author of more than 200 scientific
works on the Indonesian, Javanese, Malay and some other languages and
literatures.

And he was a very kind and responsive person, too. We miss him much. Peace
be upon him.
