Dear colleagues,

Happy New Year!
The first trial session on December 30 was a wonderful start – thank you again to everyone who joined.

Here’s the plan for January and February:
January sessions

  *
January 17, 2026 – 21:00 JST (regular Asia-Pacific slot)
This will feature a short 10-minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of discussion (and more chat if time allows)

I'm urgently looking for someone to give the 10-minute talk!
(I'll pass this time to avoid it looking too self-promoting.)
If you're interested, please let me know – previously presented material is fine!

Meeting ID: 859 4254 1819
Passcode: Austro2005

  *
January 18, 2026 — 11:00 JST (occasional Atlantic slot)
This will remain meet-and-greet style with no presentation – just casual chat and intros.

Passcode: Austro2025

In January, presentations will be short and informal – roughly 10 minutes talk + 10 minutes discussion (and more if time allows).
These are meant to be light reports or highlights rather than full-length talks.

>From February 2026
We’ll move to Google Meet for longer sessions featuring one 30-minute presentation slot (20-minute talk + 10-minute Q&A/discussion).

The presentation in February is planned to be given by Professor Alexandre François.

If you're interested in giving a short talk in January or a full talk later, please email me.

Hope to see many of you soon!
Best regards,
Yuko Kitada
