[An-lang] Call for papers (1st circular) 17-ICAL

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 17th International Conference on Austronesian Linguistics, to be held at Meisei University, Tokyo, on August 1-5, 2027. Scholars are invited for 20-minute talks (plus 10 minutes for discussion) on any aspect of language or linguistics specifically related to Austronesian languages.

Deadline for individual abstract submission:
January 31, 2027
Notification of acceptance for individual abstracts:
March 31, 2027

Keynote speakers:
Ritsuko Kikusawa (National Museum of Ethnology)
Bradley McDonnell (University of Hawai‘i)
Elizabeth Zeitoun (Academia Sinica)
