Dear all,
Does anyone know if there exists a phonological reconstruction of Proto-Southeast Solomonic?
The closest I could get to find it was in this paper: Levy, R. S. (1979). The Phonological History of the Bugotu-Nggelic Languages and Its Implications for Eastern Oceanic. Oceanic Linguistics, 18(1), 1–31. https://doi.org/10.2307/3622836. In it, Richard Levy wrote under "Data sources" this: "PSS Proto Southeast Solomonic. Levy (in press)", without the possibility to find this second source. All the other sources I found for Proto Southeast Solomonic reconstruct lexicon items, but not a single one proposes a phonemic inventory.
Should anyone have references to share, please do!
Thank you,
Fabio
