The University of Chicago Intensive Summer Arabic Program announces an
opening for an
instructor of Elementary Modern Standard Arabic (open rank) for the Summer
of 1999 (June
20--August 20, 1999.)

Applicants should have at least an M.A. in Arabic language, literature,
linguistics or a related
discipline.  A proven track record of teaching experience at the Elementary
level is essential.
