Subject: jiim as giim in Al-Kitaab Query
When I asked my t.a. why I heard the jeem as a [geem] again and again in
one of the reading passages in 'al-kitab part two', she said that there
are more that one 'm.s.a's. Is there such a thing as modern standard
arabic dialectology?!?! Or is it the confidence of the Egyptian dialect?
all the best,
Benjamin David Troutman
