Subject: Arab astronomy query

To Arabic List Members:

Would anyone know of a short explanation of the (Arabic-writing)
medieval astronomers' contribution to astronomy.  We need something
suitable for scientific/engineering students.  Descriptions of
instruments and measurements are needed for credibility with these
people.

We are familiar with several excellent books by Donald Hill and one
by Aydin Sayili, but something shorter, maybe article length would be
even better.
