Hello
Does anybody out there know how one should translate the general linguistic
terms of "Head" and "dependant" into Arabic?
We are actually developing an interactive grammar tool for students of
Arabic as a second/foreign language - a tool which will be available for
free on the internet, once it will be ready - using as many Arabic grammar
terms as we possible can without our students getting too fed up.  But
unfortunately we have not been able to come up with a suitable translation
of Head and Dependant.
Can anybody help?
