Subject: placebo response
Instead of "wahmi" which has negative connotations, perhaps one can
think of "ihaa'i" in the sense of "suggestive" which can work for
placebo: dawa' ihaa'i and placebo effect: ta'thiir ihaa'i.  Hope that
helps.
