diglossia is researched and studied about the Arabic language,

As far as I know, There are not many works written on
the diglossia in Libya. However, Reading the
introduction of Jonathon Owens'work "A Short Reference
Grammar of Eastern Libyan Arabic". Wiesbaden:
Harrassowitz,1984, may help.
