Lecturer in Arabic (Ref: 6467)

Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies

  Applications are invited for the above temporary position.  The  
postholder
will take on a significant load of Arabic teaching, in addition to  
carrying
some administrative duties.  Most of the teaching will be at  
Undergraduate
level.

Candidates should ideally hold a PhD degree or be near to completion,  
and
research active.  This post is for a fixed term of 9 months from October
2003. Salary £22,191 per annum pro rata (£16,643 for the 9 months) on
Lecturer A Scale (pay award pending).
