Subject:Liaison Multilingual Translator jobs
Dear Arabic Translators:
I am writing you from Liaison Multilingual regarding
a potential opportunity for yourself and/or other
professional translators whom you know.
We will be bidding on projects with the U.S. Department of Defense, to
be completed over a period of several years. The work is expected to
include: translation, interpretation, documentation triage, gisting and
summarization.
In some cases the translators/interpreters will be required to relocate
toWashingtonD.C.or travel to theMiddle Eastfor six month
periods. Some of the domestic work may be with non-classified
documents which could be sent to your current work location. The
classified materials, however, will be required to be translated at one
of several specified secure locations across theU.S. Because of the
sensitivity of the subject matter, translators must be willing and
able to undergo a complex security clearance procedure before beginning
any work.
If you are a highly-qualified, experienced native Arabic-speaking
translator or interpreter, aU.S.citizen, interested in this type of
work and in a position which would allow you the flexibility to go
through a several-month clearance process, please contact us.
In addition to Arabic, positions will be offered in Dari, Pashto,
Urdu, German, French, various sub-Saharan African languages, Indic
languages, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. If you are aware of other
highly-qualified translators/interpreters in any of these languages who
might be interested in applying for such positions, please also ask
them to contact us.
Thank you for your consideration of this proposal.
Best regards,
Hilary Hutchinson
