University Lektor for Arabic, University of Bayreuth
Description: appointment Oct 15, 2004 – July 31 2006. The Lektor
works closely with the Departments of Arabic and Islamic Studies,
as well as with the special language diploma programs of the
Language Center. Teaching responsibilities include both Standard
Arabic and an Arabic dialect. Teaching load is 16 hours per week.
Qualifications: Arabic native speaker, BA, preferably with
specialization in Linguistics. Teaching experience in Arabic as a
foreign language and knowledge of German would be welcome.
Handicapped will be given preference, given equal qualifications.
The University of Bayreuth wishes to increase the numbers of its
female personnel, and so encourages women to apply.

with a hard copy application. Until August 15, 2004.
