Subject:Borrowing Verbs in Arabic query
I wonder whether Arabic borrow verbs. Arabic verbs of foreign origin
such as yu'aksid (oxidize) and yugalwin (galvanize) are usually derived
form borrowed nouns. At the same time, such verbs are restricted to
standard written Arabic and not spoken variety.
