Re Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR)
 
The EOIR is a major administrative -- not purely judicial -- element of  
the former INS, now "BICE" of the US Government's Department of  
Homeland Security, or DHS. EOIR has 21 field offices (designated as  
"detail cities") throughout the US.
 
The EOIR Immigration Judge (IJ) mainly hears and adjudicates cases for  
"status adjustment" of legally-admitted resident emigres and  
applications by asylum-seekers ("asylees") for political asylum.
 
EOIR = (phoneticized) al-idaarat al-tanfiidhiiya limeraaja3t al-higra   
   
Arabic text below (hope this Arabic text shows clearly inside AOL,  
bidhin Allah):
 
  لمراجعة الهجرةالادارة التنفيذية
   
 
Also attached those terms as MS Word file, just in case AOL acts up and  
mangles the Arabic during transmittal of this note.
 
Source is the bilingual reference document I have used as interpreter  
during EOIR proceedings in the Los Angeles area.
