I am developing  a cultural, educational website about the Arab World,  
www.al-hakawati.net.
It is a long term effort, and it will be encyclopedic in scope.
 
The primary purpose of this website is to educate people across the  
Arab world in the culture of the region. As you will see when you  
visit, the content includes stories and folktales, biographies of Arab  
personalities ancient to modern, men and women, artists and the arts  
they produce, architecture and buildings , countries and their cities  
and the civilizations of the past that shape the present, and more. It  
will be fully illustrated, and in time available in English as well, to  
promote understanding of Arab culture in the English-speaking world.
