Course Description:

  If you are in the Shenandoah valley this summer and You
would like to learn Arabic, James Madison University offers
an intensive Arabic course from May 15th to June 9th. The
purpose of this  course is to enable students to master
Arabic orthographic and sound systems,basic vocabulary and
to be able to communicate at a low intermediate level.
Students who successfully finish this course will have
excellent understanding of the internal functioning of the
Arabic language, moreover they will acquire solid bases in
Arabic structure, pronunciation and culture.
The course includes screening of different Arabic videos
from the Arab world, as well as in class use of a variety of
Arabic educational software.
