Wellesley College invites applications for a full-time, one-year
non-tenure-track position in Arabic, beginning in the Fall of 2007.  The
successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of Elementary
and Intermediate Standard Arabic, and a one-semester course in Advanced
(Third Year) Arabic.  Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic, as  
well
as some language teaching experience, are required.  Please send a  
letter
of application, curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts (M.A. or Ph.D.),
syllabuses and teaching materials if available, and three letters of
reference to Arabic Search Committee, Program in Middle Eastern Studies,
Wellesley College, 106 Central Street, Wellesley, MA 02481.  Review of
