Subject:Getting permission to use authentic listening material

Dear Arabic-L members:

I would like all the people who have been using authentic listening  
material from Arabic channels such as Al-jazeerah and others to inform  
me how they got the permission to use this material particularly in  
published books such as al-kitaab fii ta3allum al 3arabiyya and  
others. What are the steps you have taken? have you paid for those  
rights because you published a book?
